Privacy policy.

«Stocker Tax & Legal», Brandschenkestrasse 4, 8001 Zurich, Switzerland  (hereinafter referred to as we) treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as DSG) and the European Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as DSGVO). In detail, the following regulations apply:

 

We collect your personal data. We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the DPA and the GDPR. Unless otherwise notified, we process your personal data as data controller. This privacy policy describes how we process and use the personal data we collect from you.

 

If you provide us with personal data of third parties, e.g. family members, please ensure that they are aware of this Privacy Policy and only share their personal data with us if you are permitted to do so and if that personal data is accurate.

1. hat personal data do we collect?

 

Personal information is information that relates to you or that we can otherwise associate with you. Personal Data that we collect includes the following: Company name, title, first and last name, registered office, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, bank information and any information that you disclose to us or that we otherwise collect pursuant to Section 2.


When you access our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information transmitted to the operating system or browser.


2. How do we collect your personal data?

 

We collect Personal Data that you have voluntarily submitted to us, for example, (i) when you contact us and provide us with information; (ii) when you instruct third parties to provide us with information; (iii) when you ask us to send you communications.


We also collect personal data (i) from publicly available sources such as public registers (commercial register, debt collection register, land register, civil register), press, internet, etc. (ii) from public authorities, courts, arbitration tribunals or other third parties involved or connected to the provision of the Services.


Furthermore, we use tracking technologies such as cookies to collect information such as the above and to better understand how visitors use our websites. These technologies help us manage our website and improve its user experience. For example, we can tell if your computer has connected to us before and see which areas of our websites are used most frequently.

 
3. For what purpose do we process your personal data?

 

We need your Personal Data to (i) enter into or perform contracts with you; (ii) transfer data to third parties, such as our network partners(iii) send you any kind of information; (iv) comply with our legal obligations; and (v) administer our website and ensure error-free delivery of our website.


We do not process sensitive personal data in an automated way. We do not perform any profiling.

 

4. With whom do we share your information?

 

We may share your information with third parties (especially network partners, government agencies, IT service providers) to provide our services and for the purposes stated above, or if we are legally required to do so.

 
5. How do we use cookies?

 

Cookies are used on our website. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure and do not cause any damage to your device.

However, if cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.

6. Why do we process your personal data and on what legal basis?

 

As explained above, we process your personal data for the conclusion and fulfillment of a contract or a legal obligation (Art. 4 para. 3 and 13 para. 2 lit. a DSG, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and c DSGVO) and for communication purposes based on your consent at the time your personal data was collected (Art. 4 para. 5 and 13 para. 1 DSG, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time.

7. Where is your personal data stored?

 

Your personal data is stored in Switzerland.


In the case of cross-border matters, we transfer your personal data abroad in order to be able to provide our services, e.g. in the case of a petition before a foreign authority or court or when contacting foreign network partners.

8. How long do we keep your personal data?

 

We process and store your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations or the purposes stated in section 3. We store personal data for the duration of our entire business relationship and thereafter, as a rule, for ten years in order to fulfill our legal retention obligations and to be able to document our and your legitimate interests.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorized access.

10. Your rights

 

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. You also have the right to request that inaccurate personal data about you be corrected and that your personal data be deleted. You also have the right to object to the processing of certain personal data and to request that the data processing be restricted. The restriction of processing or deletion of personal data is not possible if this data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contractual or legal obligation or we have a legitimate interest in the processing. You have the right to have your personal data transferred.


If you do not agree with our data processing, you can report this to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner and/or the relevant supervisory authorities in the EU.

We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. In each case, the current version published on our website applies.
